Note includes ECE-Mark
This article has an E-mark! The E- or ECE approved items are tested throughout Europe and are valid for use on motor vehicles. It is a marking of compulsory components. ECE means that this exam is valid throughout Europe, a Europe-wide CE mark.Nevertheless, the legal regulations and the approved light intensity must be observed during installation. Prior consultation with the responsible inspection authority in the respective country and installation by a specialist workshop is therefore strongly recommended.
Note reference number
1. The reference number or luminous intensity The reference number (Ref.) is a value that refers to driving lamps. According to ECE regulations, this reference number must not exceed the upper limit of 100 per vehicle. The two values of the standard high beam (left and right main headlight) are counted here in addition to the values of other mounted high beam headlights. The value is entered on the lens of approved headlights. That means if 4 headlights with a reference number of 25 each are installed, the lower two will go out when switching on. Then there are no problems. Who does not couple it with the normal high beam and puts it on an extra switch, should consider the following. The switch or display in the vehicle must light up blue and be in the direct field of vision of the driver.
The American manufacturer Vision X offers with the LED Light Bars XMitter Black Edition an inconspicuous and unobtrusive design, paired with great performance. Colloquially, one can speak of the "wolf in sheep's clothing" with the LED Light Bars. Depending on the size, the power varies, also the spread angle of the light also depends on the size of the headlights. The proven polycarbonate lens is also used in this series. The individual LEDs have been mounted as close together as possible, thus achieving the maximum yield of light in a very small space without loss of power.
The differences of the LED headlights from the Black Edition:
The size of the LED Light Bar plays a role in the angles of light distribution. It is assumed from the center, when mounting the LEDs. In the center, the LEDs are aligned with 10° and then towards the outside come the 25° or 30° angles, then the LEDs with 65° angle. With the different angles, the illuminated area is illuminated more evenly, which leads to improved visibility.
Auxiliary headlights also require care and attention. Depending on the degree of soiling, a wet cloth and a dry cloth for rubbing is sufficient. The LED auxiliary headlights can also be blasted with a high-pressure cleaner. If the dirt can not be removed, you can help with isopropyl alcohol, but let it soak in a non-visible place for 12 hours beforehand to avoid damage or discoloration of the surface.
The installation can be done on all vehicles such as trucks, vans, cars, quads, ... or even boats that have a 12V or 24V on-board voltage. The cable that comes out of the LED Ligthbar, neither shorten nor strip, or similar, this leads to loss of warranty and possibly the function! For the assembly and installation we recommend to visit a professional workshop. Beforehand, discuss the project with the workshop in question. The delivery includes assembly instructions, headlights and the matching cable set. These headlights do not have a multi-volt relay, therefore look which on-board voltage the vehicle has.
