Note includes ECE-Mark
This article has an E-mark! The E- or ECE approved items are tested throughout Europe and are valid for use on motor vehicles. It is a marking of compulsory components. ECE means that this exam is valid throughout Europe, a Europe-wide CE mark.Nevertheless, the legal regulations and the approved light intensity must be observed during installation. Prior consultation with the responsible inspection authority in the respective country and installation by a specialist workshop is therefore strongly recommended.
LED worklights are used when work is carried out in the dark or at night. These LED headlights are used in various industries and areas. They can be mounted on trucks, tractors, agricultural and forestry machinery or in the maritime sector. When installing the LED worklight, care should be taken to ensure that the work area is optimally illuminated and that you yourself are not dazzled.
The beam angle of the six built-in LEDs makes a big difference. If you want to illuminate the area directly in front of the spotlight, you need a large beam angle. With a beam angle of 60 degrees, the area up to approx. 6 m is well illuminated. If the working area is further away, for example with a gripper arm, a narrow beam angle is preferred. With a beam angle of 10 degrees, the light beam is focused and illuminates everything optimally up to a distance of approx. 17 m.
There are two different mounting options to choose from. In the first option, the LED worklight is supplied with a bracket and an M8 screw. This allows the LED worklight to be mounted in one place for longer periods of time. The bracket and screw allow the LED worklight to be rotated and tilted to provide optimum illumination of the work area. In the second option, the bracket is screwed to a magnetic holder. With the magnetic holder, the LED worklight can be quickly mounted in a different location, provided that the surface is magnetic.
There are various options for supplying power to the LED worklight. For the mounting option with the bracket and M8 screw, either a cable or a connection with a so-called "Deutsch plug" is available. These power supply options are selected for fixed mounting locations. The mounting option with the magnetic holder uses a flexible spiral cable so that the mounting location can be changed quickly and easily. Power is supplied via a universal plug.
