This article has an E-mark! The E- or ECE approved items are tested throughout Europe and are valid for use on motor vehicles.It is a marking of compulsory components. ECE means that this exam is valid throughout Europe, a Europe-wide CE mark.Nevertheless, the legal regulations and the approved light intensity must be observed during installation. Prior consultation with the responsible inspection authority in the respective country and installation by a specialist workshop is therefore strongly recommended.
With the American company Vision X, we have succeeded in an excellent expansion of our range of LED headlamps. The XPL series offers a narrow and flat design, which has the advantage of countless mounting options. They can be mounted on a wide variety of vehicles and can be used for different truck models with the appropriate kit. LED lights are commonly used on motorcycles, quads, cars, pickups, trucks, rallying, agriculture, forestry and many other applications.
Vision X has several high-quality headlights in its product line. Here we offer the slim and strong XPL series. These are available in different sizes and power variants, whereby the power is based on the size, i.e. the larger or longer the headlamp is, the more power the LED light has. The headlights are available as a variant in a curved/curved shape. With the "HALO" function or position light function, the outline around the individual LEDs is illuminated and can thus be used as a daytime running light. The size starts at 14.3 cm and goes up to 129.5 cm in length. With this range, there is something for every taste and every location, whether curved or straight, whether more power or a little more discreet. The IP-68 and IP-69k ratings are responsible for dust and water resistance, providing tightness to a depth of 3 meters and keeping tight even under high pressure with hot water. EMC or CISPR25 means that the electronics in the headlamp cannot interfere with other radio or electrical equipment. Vision X calls the active electronic temperature control in the housing Prime Drive Technology (PDT). Color temperature is specified in Kelvin and 6000 Kelvin corresponds to daylight white. ECE means Economic Commission for Europe and stands for the cross-border approval of vehicles or vehicle parts and does not require individual approval or an ABE. Nevertheless, the legal regulations for the installation of vehicle lighting must of course be observed.
The delivery includes mounting feet and the appropriate number of screws for mounting and the light itself. On the mounted cable is a separate cable, this is for the position light function and can be connected optionally. For installation and mounting we recommend to visit a professional workshop to avoid damage to the vehicle and the LED lamp. The wiring harness is included in the delivery and the side mounting brackets are available separately from us in the store.
Should coarse and stubborn dirt still remain after cleaning with warm water and a cleaning cloth, you can clean again with isopropyl alcohol (IPA). If other cleaners are used, apply them first to a non-visible area and wait at least 12 hours to see what happens to the surface. Do not splice, shorten, cut or similar in any way the cable that is mounted on the LED light!
