ECE means that this exam is valid throughout Europe, a Europe-wide CE mark.Nevertheless, the legal regulations and the approved light intensity must be observed during installation. Prior consultation with the responsible inspection authority in the respective country and installation by a specialist workshop is therefore strongly recommended.
Thanks to its small and compact design, measuring just 6.5 x 2.8 x 1.8 cm, the marker light or side marker light is ideal for almost all types of vehicles and trailers. The built-in LED technology provides sufficient light to recognize the respective side of the vehicle. They can be mounted on various trucks, motorhomes, trailers, semi-trailers and more. These LEDs are multivolt-capable, which means they work with a voltage of 12 volts as well as 24 volts. This makes the range of applications for the marker lights even greater.
The marker and side marker lights feature two top LEDs, which are hermetically sealed inside the light. Only the connection cables to the on-board electronics are located on the rear. Due to the simple function of the LED lighting, it offers any polarity at the connection, i.e. there is no plus or minus on the lighting and can therefore be freely selected. Depending on the side of the vehicle, the glass is tinted in the appropriate color. For the front, the glass is clear and white, for the rear, the glass is colored red and for the side, the glass is colored orange.
We recommend visiting a specialist workshop to install and fit the LED lighting, even for simple small LED side marker and marker lights. This ensures that you can enjoy the lights and the vehicle for a long time. Correct installation and connection prevents damage to the vehicle or the LED lights.
