Old school meets the latest dark technology

The classic, timeless shape of these clearance lights has become an integral part of the trucker scene and continues to enjoy great popularity. Time has also left its mark on this classic, and the bulbs inside have now been replaced by fully encapsulated LED modules, which are more reliable and durable than their predecessors. In this "Dark" version, the glass is tinted dark, giving it a more modern look. With a diameter of 72 mm, the LED modules fit exactly into the holders of the flexible arms and can be easily replaced. The LED technology works with both 12 V and 24 V, making the luminaires even more universal in terms of possible applications.

Technical highlights of the modern "Dark" clearance lights

This revised version is certified to IP68 and is therefore completely dustproof and also protected against permanent submersion. Depending on the voltage applied, the modules have a power consumption of just 0.7 watts at 12 volts and 1.5 watts at 24 volts, which protects the vehicle electrical system and is much more efficient. In addition, an ECE mark is molded into the glass of each module. Each module is provided with a 3 meter long cable, which should not be shortened during installation. The clearance lights operate in a temperature range of -30 °C to +50 °C and are therefore a loyal companion on the road.

Notes on fitting the clearance lights

With a little skill, the darkened retro modules can be mounted in the bracket arms in no time at all and then require no further fixing. All that remains to be done is to integrate the cable into the vehicle electrical system and the new, stylish light is installed and ready for use. When fitting, make sure that modules that light up white point in the direction of travel. Modules that light up red should be fitted so that they light up to the rear and those that light up orange to the side.
