1. The reference number or luminous intensity

The reference number (Ref.) is a value that refers to driving lamps. According to ECE regulations, this reference number must not exceed the upper limit of 100 per vehicle.
The two values of the standard high beam (left and right main headlight) are counted here in addition to the values of other mounted high beam headlights.

The value is entered on the lens of approved headlights. That means if 4 headlights with a reference number of 25 each are installed, the lower two will go out when switching on. Then there are no problems.

Who does not couple it with the normal high beam and puts it on an extra switch, should consider the following. The switch or display in the vehicle must light up blue and be in the direct field of vision of the driver.

This round full-LED driving lamp with LED position light from HELLA gives the front of your vehicle a special recognition value.

The LED driving lamp with its impact-resistant thermoplastic housing has clear, cool white LEDs and the mounting brackets are made of sheet steel. The light-emitting diodes stand out due to their functionality, technical performance and convince with optimal lighting conditions. The perception of light is therefore pleasant and not disturbing for oncoming road users. Furthermore, the LED headlamp convinces by its low energy consumption and its extreme longevity. The Edge Light technology used here gives the position / parking light a more intensive appearance. The horizontally mounted radiator ribs in this auxiliary headlamp with a cooling surface of 230 square centimetres enable efficient thermal management. This means that the precisely tuned small, robust fans ensure reliable heat dissipation.

The HELLA Rallye 3003 LED full-LED driving lamp (manufacturer number 1F8 016 797-011) is available in chrome and in reference strengths of 25 (very good illumination in the width) or 50 (very good illumination in the length). Technically, the spotlight is on the cutting edge of technology, as it provides a light signal without delay when the headlight flasher function is activated. This means that by using the headlamp flasher, other road users can be alerted to dangerous situations, thus ensuring greater safety.

The product is mounted upright on the vehicle using the already mounted mounting bracket. This product can be used at a nominal voltage of 12 Volt and 24 Volt and the voltage range is 9 to 32 Volt. The power consumption at 12 V is 2.4 Watt for the position light and 14.5 Watt for the main beam. At a power consumption of 24 V, the position light has 5 watts and the high beam also 14.5 watts. Of course this product has an E-mark (ECE-R112 high beam, ECE-R7 position light, ECE-R10 EMC).

Thanks to the housing material used, this luminaire weighs 1600 grams and has protection classes IP6K7 and IPX9K, which means that it is optimally protected against all environmental influences.

The maximum mounting height including the spotlight is 4 metres.
