1. The reference number or luminous intensity

The reference number (Ref.) is a value that refers to driving lamps. According to ECE regulations, this reference number must not exceed the upper limit of 100 per vehicle.
The two values of the standard high beam (left and right main headlight) are counted here in addition to the values of other mounted high beam headlights.

The value is entered on the lens of approved headlights. That means if 4 headlights with a reference number of 25 each are installed, the lower two will go out when switching on. Then there are no problems.

Who does not couple it with the normal high beam and puts it on an extra switch, should consider the following. The switch or display in the vehicle must light up blue and be in the direct field of vision of the driver.

By fitting this round LED spotlight of the HELLA brand (manufacturer's number 1F8 016 560 - 021), you give the front of your vehicle a recognition value, whether in bright light or at night.

This robust full metal driving lamp with housing has cold white LEDs and the mounting brackets are made of die-cast zinc. The light-emitting diodes stand out due to their functionality, technical performance and convince with optimal lighting conditions. The perception of light is therefore pleasant and not disturbing for oncoming road users. Furthermore, the LED headlamp convinces by its low energy consumption and its extreme longevity. The horizontally mounted radiator ribs in this auxiliary headlamp with a cooling surface of 230 square centimetres enable efficient thermal management. This means that the precisely tuned small, robust fans ensure reliable heat dissipation. The fixing brackets are provided with a so-called tool-free pre-adjustment, so that the angle of inclination (+ / - 7 degrees) can be perfectly adjusted.

This HELLA Luminator LED spotlight is available with this selected variation in a housing-colour chrome and in reference strength 25 (very good illumination in the width). Technically, the spotlight is state-of-the-art, as it provides a light signal without delay when the headlight flasher function is activated. This means that by using the headlamp flasher, other road users can be alerted to dangerous situations, thus ensuring greater safety.

The product is mounted upright on the vehicle using the already mounted mounting bracket. This product can be used at a nominal voltage of 12 Volt and 24 Volt and the voltage range is 9 to 32 Volt. The power consumption at 12 V is 2.4 Watt for the position light and 14.5 Watt for the main beam. At a power consumption of 24 V, the position light has 5 watts and the high beam also 14.5 watts. Of course this product has an E-mark (ECE-R112 high beam, ECE-R7 position light, ECE-R10 EMC).

Due to the housing material used, this headlamp weighs 2700 grams and has protection classes IP6K7 and IPX9K, so the headlamp is optimally protected against all environmental influences.

The maximum mounting height including the spotlight is 4 metres.
