1. The reference number or luminous intensity

The reference number (Ref.) is a value that refers to driving lamps. According to ECE regulations, this reference number must not exceed the upper limit of 100 per vehicle.
The two values of the standard high beam (left and right main headlight) are counted here in addition to the values of other mounted high beam headlights.

The value is entered on the lens of approved headlights. That means if 4 headlights with a reference number of 25 each are installed, the lower two will go out when switching on. Then there are no problems.

Who does not couple it with the normal high beam and puts it on an extra switch, should consider the following. The switch or display in the vehicle must light up blue and be in the direct field of vision of the driver.

By fitting this round LED high beam headlamp from HELLA, you can give the front of your vehicle a recognizable look, whether in bright light or at night.

This robust full metal high beam headlamp with housing has cool white LEDs and the mounting brackets are made of die-cast zinc. The LEDs stand out thanks to their functionality and technical performance and impress with optimum lighting conditions. The light perception is therefore pleasant and not disturbing for oncoming road users. The LED headlamp also impresses with its low energy consumption and extremely long service life. The horizontally mounted radiator fins in this auxiliary headlamp with a cooling surface of 230 square centimetres enable efficient thermal management. This means that the precisely matched small, robust fans ensure reliable heat dissipation. The mounting brackets are equipped with a so-called tool-free pre-adjustment, so that the angle of inclination (+ / - 7 degrees) can be set perfectly.

The HELLA Luminator LED high beam headlamp is available in the housing colors black or chrome and in the reference strengths 25 or 50. Technically, the high beam headlamp is at the cutting edge of technology, as it offers a delay-free light signal when the headlight flasher function is activated. This means that other road users can be alerted to dangerous situations by using the headlight flasher, thus ensuring greater safety.

The product is mounted upright on the vehicle using the mounting bracket already fitted. This product can be used with a nominal voltage of 12 volts and 24 volts and the voltage range is specified as 9 to 32 volts. The power consumption at 12 V is 2.4 watts for the position light and 14.5 watts for the main beam. At a power consumption of 24 V, the position light has 5 watts and the high beam also has 14.5 watts. Naturally, this product has an E-mark (ECE-R112 high beam, ECE-R7 position light, ECE-R10 EMC).

Due to the housing material used, it weighs 2700 grams and has protection classes IP6K7 and IPX9K, so the headlight is optimally protected against all environmental influences.

The maximum mounting height including the spotlight is 4 meters.
