If the mounting height of a sun visor is more than 2 meters in height, there are usually no technical objections regarding the mounting.
In this statement, we appeal to the 89th meeting of the FKZ (Technical Committee for Motor Vehicles) from 09.02.77 in Kassel, where decided was that for such facilities no registration requirement or a general operating permit (ABE) is required. (AZ No.:10PARA2)
If the sun visor, after assembly, exceeds the current vehicle height, the vehicle height would have to be re-entered.
Nevertheless, we recommend a preliminary check with your local test center to avoid problems in advance.
