Here we have a complete accessory assembly set for attaching GRP (fiberglass) body panels, especially roof spoilers and sideflaps to the truck or van.

The kit consists of a quick cleaner (Loctite® 7063) for cleaning and degreasing, the activator (Sika® Activator-205) to improve adhesion to non-porous substrates such as metals, plastics, ceramic screen prints and painted surfaces, and lastly the Sikaflex® adhesive compound (Sikaflex® 552) to securely and permanently attach the parts to the vehicle.

All in all, you have a complete assembly kit for a roof spoiler on a truck or van in the quantity you need to ensure a smooth and quick installation.

How and in what order are the individual items applied?

Generally, with this article, we provide the instruction manuals as PDF files for download. However, we recommend that an assembly of body parts be carried out by a specialist workshop as a matter of principle.

1. quick cleaner Loctite® 7063 for cleaning the parts (150ml)
2. Sika® 205 activator for adhesion (30ml)
3. adhesive Sikaflex 552 white, 300ml cartridge for bonding the parts

Our tip

During assembly, care should be taken to work extremely neatly and accurately. The thorough, preparatory cleaning and all the preliminary work are just as important as the exact placement of the parts in conjunction with the adhesive. You only have one chance here!
